Cultivation details
Climbers should be sown 5ft from row to row and the plants 1ft apart. If possible, the rows should run north to south. They should always have sticks if they can be provided, and if ridged up when 4 to 6 inches high, it will prevent them from being damaged in wind. It is a good plan to keep the ground well weeded.
