Chatsworth Lions

The Chatsworth Lions, seen in the Sculpture Gallery, are copies of lions originally made by Antonio Canova for the Rezzonico monument in St. Peters, Rome.

The Sleeping Lion was made by Rinaldo Rinaldi and the Crouching Lion was made by Francesco Benaglia, each weighing 3.5 tonnes of Carara marble. These replicas are much lighter! 



Product Details

The base of each lion is approximately 31cm x 10cm, and they are approximately 15cm tall, with each weighing around 1.5kg. Made from a marble composite.

Parcelforce 48 Standard Delivery | £6.99
Orders are despatched and delivered within three to four days from placing your order. Orders placed from 12pm Friday to 12pm Monday, will be shipped on Monday.
