Our Bumblebee range features a beautiful bee print that was inspired from a book found in the Chatsworth archives, Isectorum sive minimorum animalium theatrum by Thomas Moffet published in 1634.
This was the first English work devoted to entomology, and Chatsworth's copy of the book is a first edition which originated in the library of the scientist Henry Cavendish.
