Product description
The Chatsworth Lions, seen in the Sculpture Gallery, are copies of lions originally made by Antonio Canova for the Rezzonico monument in St. Peters, Rome. The Sleeping Lion was made by Rinaldo Rinaldi and the Crouching Lion was made by Francesco Benaglia, each weighing 3.5 tonnes of Carara marble.
These bookends are inspired by the Chatsworth Lions. Each bookend is approximately 15cm tall with a base of 9.5cm x 12.5cm.
