A traditional luxury, our British sheepskin rugs add warmth and character - perfect for any space.


Product Details

Each sheepskin is undyed and natural, with slight variances in tone, colour and texture to be expected.

Dimensions
Size and shape can also vary, reflecting the individual character of each sheepskin and the hand-finishing process. The size is approximately 80cm in length and 65cm width (at the widest point).

Product Care

Take your sheepskin rug outdoors and shake thoroughly to remove dust. If needed, gently beat it to remove dust and dirt. Brush with a sheepskin or slicker brush to restore texture, then gently vacuum to remove any remaining particles. This is usually all that’s required to keep your rug clean, without the need for washing or laundering.

If washing is absolutely necessary, avoid heat. Please note that washing can remove natural oils making it feel less soft.

  1. Pre-soak in COLD water to 30°C maximum, using a MILD WOOL detergent.
  2. Gently hand wash OR wash on your machine’s WOOL CYCLE in cold water (30°C maximum).
  3. Rinse until the water is clear. Spin dry on the SLOWEST SPIN CYCLE to remove excess water.
  4. Comb wool while still damp.
  5. Slow drying will give the best results. Hang to dry over two lines away from direct sunlight or artificial heat.
  6. When nearly dry, stretch by hand in all directions and to the required shape.

Dry cleaning is not recommended.

Orders placed before 12pm are despatched the same day for delivery the next day. Orders placed after 12pm are despatched the next day. Any orders placed after 12pm on Friday will not be despatched until Monday. Preferred delivery dates are optional and cannot be guaranteed.

You can collect your order for free from Chatsworth Estate Farm Shop in Pilsley, DE45 1UF. Orders placed before 12pm, Monday to Friday, will be ready for collection after 12pm the next day. Orders placed after 12pm Friday, will not be available for collection until the following Tuesday after 12pm. You will receive an email notification when your order is ready for pickup. For opening times, click here. Please note, due to limited storage space, all orders must be collected within one week, or they will be returned to our warehouse. Preferred collection dates are not guaranteed.
